Overview

“Transgender vilification” is a completely unnecessary special treatment that people who identify as trans get in New South Wales (see also: trans privilege). This is despite the fact that vilification (essentially defamation) is already illegal for everyone. This is state-level legislation enacted by the Parliament of New South Wales, not federal legislation over all of Australia (Australia’s Commonwealth anti-discrimination laws do not include “transgender vilification”). It has already been taken advantage of by Australian football (soccer) players Riley Dennis and Stephanie Blanch with the aid of Sharon Freund to steal money from a woman brave enough to speak against the cancerous takeover of sports and society at large by trans ideology and to force her speech to comply with said ideology.
