In general, rape by deception is the crime of obtaining consent for sex under false pretenses or lies. Specific to the trans movement, this can take the form of lying about one’s sex to a partner to trick them into sleeping with you against their sexual preferences, a form of heterophobia or homophobia depending on the details. The more this ideology and the behaviors around it are allowed to flourish, the more this will happen.
