Harassment of Stuart Campbell
In February 2023, Linsay Watson tried to use the Greater Manchester Police force to silence trans skeptical Stuart Campbell. Campbell’s “crime” was pointing out that Brianna Ghey was male (an objectively true fact). [^] Nonetheless, one officer called Campbell’s correct gendering of the boy a “hate incident and not crime” in his opinion, even though pointing out reality in a neutral manner is not “hate”.
Unsurprisingly, this was not acceptable for the lunatic Watson, who took legal action against the police force in 2024 over their decision (to no avail).
Note that the unnamed author of the April 16, 2025 BBC article on this incident uses trans cult language, missexing Watson repeatedly.
