Overview
Linds Jakows is a New Hampshire resident, trans activist, and founder of 603 Equality, a state level organization in New Hampshire that “advocates for LGBTQ+ people.” [^]
Linds Jakows has spoken against New Hampshire House Bill 1205, a bill that protects girls from having boys compete in their sports (giving them privacy in locker rooms and showers and making for a fairer and safer field of competition for them).
“While we breathe a sigh of relief that no business can be enabled by the state to block bathroom access, it’s little comfort to the trans young people and families who are being told there are limits to how much they can truly ‘live free’ in this state”—Jakows [^] (Yes Jakows—there are limits to the “freedoms” people have by law as a general rule. You aren’t allowed to steal your neighbor’s car even though letting you would help you ‘live free’.—J.C.)
