Overview
On September 20, 2018, a trans employee named Snochia Moseley shot up the Rite Aid distribution center in Aberdeen, Maryland where she worked. Moseley killed three employees and injured three more before taking her own life. She reportedly arrived for work at 6:30 AM, left, then returned around 8:53 AM. At roughly 9:05 AM, during a break time when employees were outside or in common areas, she pulled a hood over her head and went on her rampage. [^]
Snochia was a temporary employee who had been at the distribution center for less than two weeks. She was diagnosed with a mental illness in 2016 but was still able to legally purchase a gun. [^] No motive was found for the shooting.
